• • Members are the final voice for Collaborative policy positions and statements.

    • Members vote through a consensus-based model with set ground rules.

    • Membership consists of individual and organizational representatives.

    • Membership follows the calendar year. For 2022 members will be asked to pay annual dues by June 1.

    • New members may join at any time during the year.

    • ‘Active’ member status with voting rights will only expire if dues are not received by the due date.

    In addition to voting privileges, members will also receive:

    • Access to resources including meeting summaries, and other pertinent documents & presentations.

    • Access to other stakeholders & Professionals in the local housing industry

    • Access to other leaders, subject matter experts & public officials

    • Opportunities to attend monthly general meetings and participate on committees and work groups

    • Opportunities to be listed on the website as an HHC Member

    • Opportunity to interact, network and partner with leaders in the housing space

  • Advisory memberships begin at $1,000.

    • Advisory membership is open to certain types of entities which do not qualify for organizational or individual membership, but wish to participate in and provide support to the Houston Housing Collaborative.

    • Advisory members do not have voting rights and do not count toward any quorum or participation requirements in the Collaborative’s consensus decision making process.

    • Advisory members may participate in general meetings of the Collaborative and join in member discussions.

    • As a regular matter, advisory members will not be represented in letters or statements on which the Houston Housing Collaborative is a signatory. However, they may request to be included as signatories.

    Entities eligible for major donor advisory membership include:

    • Private Foundations or Corporations with an interest in furthering or investing in affordable housing in Houston.

    • Government agencies with jurisdiction over Houston or the surrounding metropolitan area.
